Wandalene "Wanda" M. Jones, 81, Hays, formerly of Stockton, died Sunday, March 10, 2013, at Via Christi Village, Hays.
She was born Feb. 17, 1932, in Stockton to Claude and Edith (Watkins) Pifer.
She married Paul E. Jones on Feb. 5, 1956, in Stockton. He preceded her in death Oct. 1, 1996.
Survivors include two daughters, Karen Carver, Lawrence, and Karol Goodin, Hays; a brother, Robert "Bob" D. Pifer, Texas; four grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; and two step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton; burial in Mount Vernon Cemetery, rural Rooks County.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Thursday, with family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Hays Medical Center in care of the funeral home.
