William 'Willy' Reitmayer

William "Willy" Reitmayer, 86, WaKeeney, died Wednesday, June 18, 2014, at Reddy House, Wichita.

He was born July 26, 1927, in rural Trego County to John and Clara (Schuster) Reitmayer.

He married Hilda Dietz on May 29, 1947, in Goodland. She preceded him in death July 18, 1993. He was a carpenter. Survivors include two sons, Rex, Dallas, and Doug, Maize; a brother, Clem; two sisters, Anna Rohn, Colby, and Minnie Kirksick, Strasburg, Colo.; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Schmitt Funeral Home, WaKeeney; burial in WaKeeney City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Memorials are suggested to VFW Post No. 3449 in care of the funeral home.
