William N. Albers, 90, Hoxie, died Thursday, Sept. 13, 2012, at his home.

He was born Feb. 6, 1922, in Angelus to Theodore and Anna (Beckman) Albers.

He married Dolores Marie (Franklin) Albers on Aug. 6, 1946, in Angelus. She preceded him in death Feb. 9, 2009. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during World War II.

Survivors include a son, John Albers, Muncie, Ind.; two daughters, Marcia Bingham, Hoxie, and Kathleen Ford, Wichita; two sisters, Cleon Heinrich, Oakley, and Louella Travis, Oklahoma City; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, William Albers.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church, Hoxie; burial in St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Cemetery, Hoxie, with miltary rites by Wheatland VFW Post No. 2864.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice Services of Phillipsburg in care of the funeral home.
