Willie C. Hilton, 78, Salina, died Monday, June 16, 2014.

He was born Dec. 9, 1935, in Thomaston, Ga., to Willie D. and Eula Belle (Nipper) Hilton.

He was the body shop foreman for Jim Sullivan Chevrolet and before retiring; he worked for Mike's Body Shop, Salina. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran, stationed at Schilling Air Force Base.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Patricia (Green) Hilton; a son, Nicholas Hilton and wife, Karrie, Wichita; three daughters, Kimberly Bengtson and husband, Scott, Wichita, Vicki Schippers and husband, Tony, Hays, and Pamela Huckleberry and husband, Jim, Olathe; five brothers and sisters; 10 grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, five brothers and sisters.

Private services will be Friday at Ryan Mortuary, Salina; burial in Roselawn Memorial Park, Salina.

Visitation will be from 1 to 4 p.m. Thursday, and family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Tammy Walker Cancer Center or Hospice of Salina in care of the mortuary.
