Wilma June (Hanlon) Michel, 83, Russell, died Tuesday, June 3, 2014, at Main Street Manor, Russell.

She was born July 30, 1930, in McPherson to James and Lillian (Wickham) Hanlon. She was a 1949 graduate of Russell High School.

She married Donald Dean Michel on Feb. 14, 1961, in Russell. He preceded her in death Jan. 23, 2008. She was a homemaker.

Survivors include four sons, Ken Michel, Russell, Jeff Michel, Hutchinson, Minn., Tim Michel, Overland Park, and Todd Michel, Lee's Summit, Mo.; a daughter, Jill Zink, Gardner; 10 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 2:30 p.m. Friday at St. John Lutheran Church; cremation will follow the service.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Thursday with family present from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.

Memorials are suggested to St. John Lutheran Church in care of the mortuary.
