Wilmer L. Hogan, 93, Prairie View, died Monday, July 14, 2014, in Lincolnshire, Ill.

He was born March 10, 1921, in Long Island to Elias and Alette (Edell) Hogan.

He was a retired rural mail carrier.

Survivors include his wife, Marie; two sons, Leon, Annadale, N.J., and Lauren, Northbrook, Ill.; a sister, Ann Mae Koeteeuw, San Antonio; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Luctor Christian Reformed Church; burial in Prairie View Cemetery with military honors by Long Island American Legion.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

Memorials are suggested to the church, or Long Island American Legion in care of the funeral home.
