Yvette Geralyn Hartzog, 52, Hoxie, died Tuesday, Dec. 8, 2009, at her home.

She was born May 21, 1957, in McCook, Neb., to Edward and Marjorie (Haller) Cahoj.

She married Harold Hartzog on Jan. 28, 2006, in Hoxie.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; a son, Cody Holzmeister, Angelus; a daughter, Megan Jacques, Grinnell; her father, Boliver, Mo.; her mother, Marjorie Grimm, McCook; six brothers, Phillip, West Plains, Mo., Kenneth, Fairplay, Mo., Joseph, Olathe, John, Hoxie, James, McDonald, and Edward, Halfway, Mo.; four sisters, Marjorie Richardson, Olathe, Sheila Geist, Tyrone, Ga., Niceta Farber, Hoxie, and Janelle Buffington, Grant City, Mo.; and two grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Christian Fellowship Church, Hoxie; burial in Hoxie Cemetery.

Visitation will be until 6 p.m. today and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, both at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.

Memorials are suggested to Sheridan County Wellness Center, or Hospice Services, Inc. in care of the funeral home.
