Lillian Schmidt, 86, died Sunday, April 29, 2012, at Hospice of the Valley, Scottsdale, Ariz.

She was born Oct. 6, 1925, in Hays.

Survivors include her husband, James F. Schmidt, Fountain Hills, Ariz.; a daughter, Kathleen Schmidt, Glendale, Ariz.; a son, Terry Schmidt, Scottsdale; and three grandchildren.

Services were Friday, May 4, at Church of the Ascension, Fountain Hills; burial will be at a later date in St. Catherine's Cemetery.
