Darrel M. Anderson, 86, Hill City, died Friday, Aug. 4, 2017, at Graham County Hospital, Hill City.
He was born April 2, 1931, in rural Morland to Everett Avon and Velma Mae (Charles) Anderson.
He married Willadonna Heidrick on June 9, 1957, in Russell. He was an oilman. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean War.
Survivors include his wife, Hill City; two sons, Darrel Anderson, Sarasota, Fla., and Donald Anderson, Hill City; two daughters, Christine Burger, Hill City, S.D., and Cathleen Anderson, Angel Fire, N.M.; two sisters, Rolleen Quiett, Hill City, and Jeanine Ray, Morland; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; and six step-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Church of God Anderson Indiana Affiliation, Hill City; burial in Hill City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, with family present to receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. at Stinemetz Funeral Home, Hill City.
Memorials are suggested to St. Mihiel American Legion Post No. 42, Hill City, in care of the funeral home.
