Marian Arlene Baker, 89, Pratt, died Thursday, Sept. 7, 2017, at her home.

She was born Jan. 21, 1928, in Ogallah to William Rolly and Bertha Fenella (Reade) Hall. 

She married Willis “Ray” Baker on April 11, 1948, in WaKeeney.  He preceded her in death Aug. 20, 1999. She moved to Pratt from Quinter in 2007. 

She was a member of Quinter Methodist Church and attended Pratt Presbyterian Church. She was a member of the Order of Eastern Star, Millbrook Chapter 108,  Hill City, where she just received her 50-year pin in 2015. 

She enjoyed word search puzzles, sewing, crocheting, and volunteering at Hospice Thrift Shop.

Survivors include a son, Joseph “Joe” Baker and wife, Sammy, Russell; two daughters, Ann McWilliams and husband, Ron, Salina, and Barb Flora and husband, Darrel, Sawyer; seven grandchildren, Donita, Carla, Michael, Jeffery, Nickolas, Jonathan and Andrew; 25 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and loved ones.

She preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Warren Hall.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Monday at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt; graveside services will be held at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in WaKeeney Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to Pratt Community Center or Quinter Senior Center in care of the the mortuary.
