James Stephen Kieffer, 76, Rancho Murieta, Calif., died Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2017.
He was born Jan. 2, 1941, in Belleville to Joseph G. and Catherine R. (L’Ecuyer) Kieffer.
He served as CEO of credit unions in Kansas, Colorado and California throughout his career.
Survivors include his wife, Dixie Kieffer, Rancho Murieta; four sons, Brad Kieffer and wife, Sandra, Rogers, Ark., Eric Kieffer and wife, Janya, Dallas, Andy Kieffer and wife, Michele, Hays, and Todd Kieffer and wife, Christina, Kansas City, Mo.; a daughter, Lynette Mullinax and husband, Mike, Silver Lake; two step-daughters, Angie Friedrich and husband, John, Rancho Murieta, and Amy Shell, Danville Calif.; a brother, David and wife, Diane, Hartford City, Ind.; three sisters, Theresa Baxa, Beloit, Marge Walker, Bellville, and Marilyn Wilson, Larned; eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be at 11 a.m. Nov. 4 at Solano Yacht Club, Suisun City, Calif.
