Cecilia Agnes (Sack) Hart, 101, Pratt, formerly of Hays, died Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2017, in Wichita.
She was born July 10, 1916, in Hays to Stephen Edward and Barbara (Unrein) Sack.
She married James M. Hart Sr. on July 30, 1940, in Hays. He preceded her in death Dec. 1, 2001. She was a very hard worker and in 1999, she went to Washington, D.C., where she received the Outstanding Oldest Worker award.
She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, Daughters of Isabella and Eagles Lodge, all in Hays. She moved to Pratt 49 years ago and was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church and Altar Society in Pratt.
Survivors include two sons, Stephen Hart and wife, Mary, Russell, and Joe Hart and wife, Kathy, Amarillo, Texas; a daughter, Barbara Janzing, Wichita; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter in-law, Delia Hart, Oak Harbor, Wash.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, James Hart Jr.; a daughter, Mary Ann Huslig; two sons-in-law, Bernard Janzing and Ervin Huslig; and six brothers, Leo Sack, Lawrence Sack, Casper Sack, Jacob Sack, Peter Sack and Edward Sack; and three sisters, Alice Schenk, Elizabeth Kuhlman and Ann Catherine Byers.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Hays; burial in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Hays.
Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday, with family receiving friends from 1 to 3 p.m. at Larrison Mortuary, Pratt, and from 9 a.m. Monday until time of services at the church.
A rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Monday at the church.
