Ruby Grace Jackson, 87, Stockton, died Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at Hays Medical Center.
She was born Nov. 22, 1930, in Woodston to Irving and Blanche (Cook) Glodfelty
She married Wes Jackson on Dec. 17, 1955, in Stockton. He preceded her death July 9, 2004. She was an elementary school teacher for 15 years.
Survivors include a sister, Dorothy Dibble, Osborne; her nieces and nephews, Kent Chesney, Judy Blecha and husband, Steve, Keith Chesney and wife, Patty, Kevin Chesney and wife, Sherri, Karen Nowlin and husband, Dave, Marsha Doane and husband, Keith, Jim Dibble and wife, Sherry, Don Silvers and wife, Beverly, Carolyn Bruyr and husband, Mike, Sandra Chard and husband, Gary, Valerie Fuzzell and husband, Rusty, Darin Folsom and wife, Sherry, Anne Rokeby and husband, Richard, Avonne Anderson and husband, Clint, and Alice Glendening and husband, Brad.
She was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Herbert Glodfelty; three sisters, Leona Silvers, Wanda Chesney and Rosilee Folsom; and a niece, Connie (Chesney) Melton.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Stockton United Methodist Church; burial in Ash Rock Cemetery, rural Woodston.
Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday with family receiving friends from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Stockton.
Memorials are suggested to Rooks County Health Center Foundation or Stockton United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home.
