Nicholas “Nick” Andrew Melendez, 20, Duvall, Wa., died suddenly Jan. 14, 2018, in Woodinville, Wa.

A funeral Mass honoring his life will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Holy Innocents Catholic Church, Duvall.

Larry G. Herber, 79, Dorrance, died on Wednesday, Jan. 17, 2018, at his home near Dorrance.

A celebration of life will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday at the American Legion, Dorrance; private family inurnment will be Friday.

Loren H. Grau, 89, Phillips County, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Phillips County Hospital, Phillipsburg.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, Stuttgart; burial in Emmanuel Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery with military honors by Fort Riley.

Visitation will be until 9 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

William “Bill” Phillip Beer, 91, WaKeeney, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Christ the King Catholic Church, WaKeeney.

A rosary will be at 9 a.m. Saturday, followed by visitation at 9:30 a.m., both at the church.

Warren Junior Ficken, 94, Damar, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Graham County Hospital, Hill City.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Bogue; private burial in La Crosse City Cemetery.

There will be no visitation.

Vernon R. Diederich, 82, Oberlin, died Wednesday, Jan. 24, 2018.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Oberlin; burial in Oberlin Cemetery.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Friday at Pauls Funeral Home, Oberlin.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Robert C. Wall, 60, Manhattan, died Saturday Jan. 20, 2018, at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kansas City, Mo., after an extended illness.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the College Avenue United Methodist Church, Manhattan; burial will follow the service.

Visitation will be from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Friday with family greeting friends at Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Home, Manhattan.
