Raymond O. Shellito, 93, Smith Center, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2018, at Smith County Memorial Hospital, Smith Center.
He was born Aug. 13, 1924, in Smith Center to Roy O. and Katherine D. (Kiddoo) Shellito.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving from April 22, 1944, to May 8, 1946.
Survivors include a son, Ray Lee Shellito and wife, Cindy, Russell; a daughter, Barbara Sweat and husband, Jim, Smith Center; a daughter-in-law, Sharlyn Shellito, rural Smith County; seven grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a son, Milo; his wife, Betty; three brothers, Alfred E., Harold C. and Arthur Leo Shellito; and two sisters, Frances I. and Eva Katherine Hill.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at All Faiths Funeral Chapel, Smith Center; burial in Fairview Cemetery, Smith Center.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Sunday and until time of service Monday, both at the funeral chapel.
