Glenn Leon Hackerott, 85, Wichita, died Monday, Feb. 26, 2018, at his home.

He was born Dec. 3, 1932, near Alton to Herman and Emma (Ziegler) Hackerott. He was a graduate of Natoma High School and Fort Hays State University with a degree in accounting.

He was the owner and operator of Hackerott Dirt Moving. He was a U.S. Marine veteran.

Survivors include three sons, Brian Hackerott, Ulysses, Gregg Hackerott, Council Grove, and Kevin Hackerott, Wichita; two daughters, Cyndi Fairbank, Wichita, and Janelle Strobel, Avon, Ind.; a sister, Lila Schroeder, Rising City, Neb.; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Graveside services were Tuesday in North Lutheran Cemetery, north of Natoma; cremation has preceded the services.
