Kenneth Fredrick Lyle, 76, Natoma, formerly of Russell and Wilson, died Saturday, May 19, 2018, at Via Christi St. Francis Hospital, Wichita.

He was born May 21, 1941, in Alexandria, Ky., to Kenneth Key and Constance L. (Penquiley) Lyle. He attended school in Alexandria.

He married Linda Evelyn Wells on Dec. 6, 1961, in Miami, Okla.

He worked for Red Tiger Drilling and was the supervisor of Rig No. 8.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, of the home; two daughters, Connie Mayberry, Luray, and Kristine Holmes, Russell; five brothers, Larry Lyle, Falmouth, Ky., Ralph Lyle and William Lyle, both of Hammersville, Ohio, Allen Lyle, Alexandria, and Gary Lyle, West Union, Ohio; four sisters, Deloris Terry and Virginia Palmer, both of Hammersville, Kathleen Swanger, Mayslick, Ky., and Linda King, Harrison, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a son, Kenny Lyle; and a grandson.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Paradise United Methodist Church; burial of ashes will follow at a later date. Family will be present to greet friends from 10 a.m, until time of service Friday at the church. Memorials are suggested to Natoma Community Center and Kids Camp with Paradise United Methodist Church, in care of Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary.
