Mary F. Keeler, 50, Russell, died Wednesday, June 27, 2018, at Salina Regional Hospital after a courageous battle with cancer.
She was born Oct. 9, 1967, in Russell to Robert John and Ula Faye (Keyes) Olsen. She was a graduate of Russell High School. She then achieved a certificate in Phlebotomy from Bryant University in Wichita.
She married Jay D. Keeler on March 8, 1997, in Russell. She was a Title 1 Para Educator for U.S.D. 407 for more than 11 years.
Survivors include her husband of 21 years, of the home a; daughter, Olivia Keeler, of the home; two sisters, Michelle Harrison, McCook, Neb., and Molly Freibus, Russell; and her parents, Robert and Ula Olsen, Russell.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. John Lutheran Church, Russell; burial in Fairport Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday with family present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell.
Memorials are suggested to KU Cancer Research in care of the mortuary.
