Marilyn Kay (Zerfas) Furbeck, 69, died Wednesday, Aug. 1, 2018.
She was born Sept. 30, 1948, in Hays to Walter “Walt” and Elizabeth “Liz” Zerfas. During her lifetime she lived in Oceanside, Calif., Ellis, Oakley, Chanute, Garden City and Salina.
She was a mother, grandmother, wife, and business owner of PDQ Emergency Products for 29 years.
Survivors include her husband, Alvie, of the home; a son, Sean Furbeck and wife, Kim; a daughter, Lisa Furbeck; a brother, Terry and wife, Cindy, Ellis; two sisters, Patricia “Pat” Bieker, Ellis, and Beverly “Bev” Meadows and husband, Lewis, Kentucky; and two grandchildren, Steven Furbeck and Mackenzie “Kenzie” Furbeck, both of Salina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Gary.
A private family graveside service will be in Mount Hope Cemetery, Ellis.
There will be no visitation.
