Fred “Howard” Miller, 75, Wilson, died Wednesday, Aug. 8, 2018, at Ellsworth County Medical Center.

He was born May 15, 1943, in Alva, Okla., to Gerold and Vona Lee (McGuire) Miller.

He married Patty (Whitmer) Miller on June 30, 1967, in Alva. He was a retired U.S. Air Force veteran.

Survivors include his wife, Wilson; a son, Fredrick Miller II., Olathe; two daughters, Danetta Hill, Platte City, Mo., and Theresa Heinrich, Wilson; a brother, John R. Miller, Russell; and six grandchildren.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Wilson; burial in Wilson City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Friday with family receiving friends 6 to 8 p.m. at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Wilson.

Memorials are suggested to Ellsworth County EMS or Wilson Senior Center in care of the funeral home; burial in Wilson City Cemetery.
