Alan D. Weber, 59, Russell, died Friday, Aug. 31, 2018, in rural Barton County.
He was born Sept. 30, 1958, in Hays to Lawrence and Beatina (Kinderknecht) Weber.
He married Tammy Henning on March 11, 2008, in St. John. He had worked in the oilfields as a water truck driver.
He enjoyed hunting, fishing, metal detecting and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Russell; his mother, Great Bend; two stepsons, Nicholas Griffin, Portage, Ind., and Jared Griffin, Santa Rosa, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Audra Hoop and Dannah Hill, both of Russell, and Victoria Wilder, Belpre; a brother, Steve Weber and Terri Ediger, Hutchinson; three sisters, Marilyn Selle and husband, Allen, Connie Weber and Bret Eulert, all of Great Bend, and Wanda Weber and Tom Moore, Hoisington; and13 step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Services were Tuesday at Brock’s-Keithley Funeral Chapel and Crematory, 2509 Vine, Hays, KS 67601; burial in Fort Hays Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
