Barbara Gail Tebow, 77, Salina, died Thursday, Sept. 20, 2018, at her home.

She was born Aug. 8, 1941, in Southwest City, Mo., to Walter “Jack” Lett and Ethel Mae (Cantrell) Lett.

She married Billy Joe Tebow on Sept. 11, 1960, in Southwest City. They were married for 50 years before he preceded her in death in 2011. She was a banker for 33 years.

She enjoyed to crochet, cross-stitch and was a gifted seamstress. She enjoyed working in her yard, growing prized roses, cooking meals for her family — especially during the holidays — and teaching her grandchildren how to cook.

She was an active member in her church, working with young children in Sunday school and the Cubbies in AWANAS. She was known as grandma to everyone.

Survivors include a son, Jack Tebow and wife, Doris, Quinter; a daughter, Melanie Leepers and husband, Fred, Salina; two brothers, Harry P. Lett and Dick Lett and wife, Pam, Southwest City; six grandchildren, Terah Robinett and husband, Todd, Tabia Norris and husband, Spencer, Tiana Leepers, Jordan Kiser and husband, Tyler, Ryan and Leah Tebow; three great-grandchildren, Iylah Robinett, Kamryn and Eliza Norris, and a fourth on the way; and nephews, nieces, and friends and extended family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and a twin brother, Jackie Lee.

Family will receive visitors from 10 to 11 a.m. with services following at 11 a.m. Saturday at First Southern Baptist Church, Salina; private inurnment will be at a determined later date in Southwest City Cemetery, Southwest City.

Memorials are suggested to Hospice of Salina and First Southern Baptist Church of Salina building fund.
