Linda Carver , 71, Hays, died Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at Hays Medical Center.

She was born Feb. 10, 1947, in Wichita to William W. and Jesse D. (Farmsworth) Koon. She grew up in Wisconsin then lived in Corning, Salina, Russell and Hays.

She married William H. Carver on Oct 29, 1973, in Iron Mountain, Mich. He preceded her in death Aug. 26, 1991.

She enjoyed playing cards, crocheting, cooking and her grandkids.

Survivors include two sons, William J. “J.W.” Carver, Diamond, Ohio, and Paul H. Carver and fiancé, Michelle Seib, Hays; five grandchildren: Faith, Gabriella and William Jr.; Rebecca and Andrew.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, William H. Carver Jr.; three brothers and a sister.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Centennial Towers, 2502 Sherman Avenue, Hays, KS 67601; a private family inurnment will be in Corning Cemetery, Corning.

Family will receive friends from 9 to 10 a.m. Thursday at the towers.

Memorials are suggested to the American Lung Association.
