Mary E. Ritter, 88, Phillipsburg, died Sunday, Oct. 7, 2018, at Phillips County Retirement Center, Phillipsburg.

She was born April 24, 1930, in Seguin to Theodore and Anna (Geerdes) Reinert.

Survivors include her husband, Vincent, Phillipsburg; five sons, Charles, Kansas City, Mo., Joe, Goodland, Will, Olathe, Rick, Colby and Paul, Monument; four daughters, Irene Whorton, Topeka, Louise Phillips, Lawrence, Doris Yonke, Holton and Jayne Leidig, Phillipsburg; two brothers, Wilfrid Reinert, Seguin and Dennis Reinert, Lamar, Colo.; four sisters, Sister Anne Reinert, Concordia, Caroline Jacobs, Dresden, Janet Berger, Nicholsville, Ky., and Ruth Reinert, Dodge City; 33 grandchildren; and 39 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Katherine Fitzgibbons and MaDonna Cully; a daughter, Carol A. Wilson; a son, John M. Ritter; a son-in-law, James Fuller; and a granddaughter, Jennifer Whorton.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at SS Philip & James Catholic Church;burial in Mount Calvary Cemetery, Leoville.

Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and 9 a.m. to 9 p.m Wednesday, both at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel.

A prayer service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church, Leoville.

A rosary/wake will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Olliff-Boeve Memorial Chapel, Phillipsburg.

A memorial fund will be established.
