Jane D. (Trent) Brumley, 97, Russell, formerly of Wichita and Salina, died Sunday, Oct. 28, 2018, at Wilson Care and Rehabilitation Center.

She was born May 31, 1921, in Keifer Creek, Okla., to D.E. and Iva (Brown) Trent. She was a graduate of Gray Horse High School in Fairfax, Okla.

She married Harold L. Brumley on Sept. 8, 1962, in Ralston, Okla. He preceded her in death Dec. 6, 1953. She worked at the Boeing Aircraft Company as a telephone operator.

Survivors include two sons, Felix Brumley and Harold Brumley, both of Russell; a daughter, Sue Decker, Scottsdale, Ariz.; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Marcella Brumley, in 1982.

A gathering service will be held at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary. Russell with family present to greet guests from 1 to 3 p.m. Monday; private family burial of ashes will follow in Russell City Cemetery.
