Frankie A. Gooch, 87, Russell, died Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, at Russell Regional Hospital.
She was born Nov. 9, 1930, in Quanah, Texas, to James Frank and Ethel Belle (Young) Stepp. She was a graduate of Borger High School.
She married Corbett Gooch Jr. on Aug. 2, 1955, in Stinnett, Texas. He preceded her in death. She was a bookkeeper for Bogart's Grocery and their family weed spraying business in Russell.
Survivors include two sons, Lee Wayne Gooch and James Gooch; three daughters, Cathlene McClain, Amelia Heaton and Patricia Parrett; 17 grandchildren; 30 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell; inurnment in Russell City Cemetery. Family will greet guests the day of the service.
Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday at the mortuary.
Memorials are suggested to Russell Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 6240 Auxiliary in care of the mortuary.
