Edward L. Selensky, 58, Dodge City, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018, at his home.

He was born May 19, 1960, in Quinter to Norbert and Patricia (Schumacher) Selensky.

He spent most of his life in Dodge City and worked for Sante Fe Trail Glass Co. for many years.

He had numerous hobbies, enjoyed hunting, playing pool, collecting coins and most of all fishing. His passion for fishing was passed on to numerous nieces and nephews.

Survivors include four brothers, Monty and wife, Mary, Hays, Terry and wife, Melanie, Dodge City, Troy, Hutchinson, and Trampus and wife, Sarah, Olathe; two sisters, Laurie and Lisa, both of Dodge City; 16 nieces and nephews; and 16 great- nieces and nephews. 

He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Sheila Selensky; his long time companion, Felicia Viegra Woodson; a niece, Samantha Charles; and a great-niece, Laken Ann Seyb.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Ziegler Funeral Chapel, Dodge City.

Book signing will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral chapel.

Memorials are suggested to Ford County Sportsman’s Club in care of the funeral chapel.
