Martina Younger, 92, Munjor, died Friday, Nov. 16, 2018, at Good Samaritan Society, Ellis.

She was born Sept. 15, 1926, in Munjor to Felix and Anna E. (Wasinger) Korbe.

She married Walter Younger on Oct. 19, 1948, in Munjor. He preceded her in death Oct. 21, 2014. She was a homemaker and a farmer. She worked at Ellis County ASCS in Hays for 35 years and worked a few years at the Walker Air Base, retiring in 1981.

She was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

She enjoyed the outdoors, quilting, gardening, collecting depression glass and rosaries.

Survivors include a son, Neal Younger and wife, Carolyn, Munjor; a daughter, Gladys Powell and husband, Jamie, Beloit; a sister, Mary Richmeier, Denver; a brother-in-law, Don Hintz, Nebraska; a sister-in-law, Olivia Korbe, Liebenthal; six grandchildren, Mike Gross and wife, Lisa, Jeremy Zimmerman, Amy Swanson and husband, Virgel, Erin Garst and husband, Justin, Maeghan Linder and husband, Dustin, Brianna Younger and companion, McKinley Ross; and nine great-grandchildren, McKenzie Gross, Taylor, Merritt and Isabella Swanson, Clayton and Trinity Garst, Arya Linder, Bella Bailey and Lennon Ross.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Gloria Zimmerman-Gross; a grandson, Cody Younger; three brothers, Felix Korbe and wife, Evelyn, Killian Korbe and Fred Korbe and wife, Zora; two sisters, Isabelle Dougherty and husband, Eddie and Bernadine Hintz; and a brother-in-law, Cletus Richmeier.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, Munjor; burial in St. Francis of Assisi Cemetery, Munjor.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday, both at Cline’s-Keithley Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601.

A vigil/rosary will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church or Cody Younger FFA Memorial Scholarship Fund, in care of the mortuary.
