Mary Cynthia “Cindi” (Graves) Rummel, 66, Atwood, formerly of Colorado, died Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2019, at Rawlins County Health Center, Atwood.

She was born March 31, 1952, in Atwood to Byron “Bike” Graves and Hazel (McGowan) Graves. She was a 1970 graduate of Atwood High School and attended Colby Community College.

She married Kenneth “Kenny” Rummel on June 25, 1971. She was a clerk at Ace Hardware, then part-time at Midwest Energy before becoming employed as a para at Atwood Grade School for 13 years and then retired from her working career after 20 years of being employed in the treasurer’s office at the Rawlins County Courthouse.

She enjoyed being around people, many friends, and spending time with her family. She enjoyed playing golf, fishing in her early years, cheering for the Denver Broncos, going for rides and being a homemaker.

Survivors include her husband, of the home; two sons, Brandon and wife, Tami, Hays, and Brett, Winona; a brother, Tom and wife, Pat, Grand Junction, Colo.; a grandson Payton Ruder, Manhattan; and other relatives and many friends.

She was preceded in death by parents; two brothers, Jerry and Jim; and a sister, Patti. 

A celebration of life will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Atwood Country Club.
