He was born Feb. 15, 1994, in Plainville to Chad A. Nuss and Corinna Ann Brookhouser. He grew up in the Hays area, where he spent time with his grandfather, Ron. He moved to Spring Hill with his family when he was 9, then to Gardner a year ago.

He was a graduate of Stockton High School and attended Fort Hays State University for two years. He enjoyed playing football at Spring Hill and Stockton. He was homecoming king at Stockton High School his senior year. He enjoyed playing baseball and wrestling. He was an avid Denver Bronco fan. He was a member of Divine Mercy Parish.

He worked at Trade Net, Gardner, as a machine operator.

Survivors include his parents, Corinna and Mark Sander, Gardner; his father, Chad Nuss and stepmother, Stephanie, Plainville; siblings, Cage, Carson and Aiden Sander, of the home; a sister, Rachel Moravek, Hays; half-siblings, Trevor, Brook, Logan and Colby Nuss, Plainville; paternal grandparents, Michelle Sander, Tribune, David and step-grandmother, Rebecca Sander, Hays; paternal great-grandmother, Jane Gottschalk, Tribune; maternal grandparents, Mary and Ronald Strutt, Woodston; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Services will be at noon Friday at Divine Mercy Catholic Church, 555 W. Main, Gardner; burial in St. Columbine Catholic Cemetery, Edgerton.

Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until time of service Friday at the church.

A rosary will be at 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.

Memorials are suggested to Gardner Community Garden or Bruce Funeral Home.

Bruce Funeral Home, Gardner, is in charge of arrangements.

Condolences can be left for the family at
