Daisy Alice (Terry) Pfannenstiel


Daisy Alice (Terry) Pfannenstiel, 82, Wichita, formerly of Russell, died Saturday, May 10, 2014, at Lakepoint Facility, Wichita.

She was born Sept. 11, 1931, in Russell to Ralph and Zelda (Carroll) Terry. She was a graduate of Russell High School and attended Fort Hays State University for a few years.

She was a secretary for Budget Plumbing.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Pfannenstiel Jr., Wichita, and Pete Pfannenstiel, Lovington; four daughters, Paula Kuntzsch and Penny Radke, both of Russell, Pamela Gideon, Lovington, N.M., and Peggy Acheson, Salina; two brothers, Fred Mitchell Sr., Ellinwood, and Stanley Mitchell, Garden City; two half-sisters, Patty and Phyllis; two step-sisters, Marceline Bender and Glenna Paschal, both of Russell; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Pohlman-Varner-Peeler Mortuary, Russell; burial of ashes in Russell City Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday with the family present to greet friends from 6 to 7 p.m. at the mortuary.

Memorials are suggested to Daisy Pfannenstiel Memorial Fund in care of the mortuary.
