George F. Reha
George F. Reha, 90, La Crosse, died Tuesday, April 22, 2014, at Rush County Memorial Hospital Long Term Care, La Crosse.
He was born Oct. 4, 1923, in rural McCracken to Frank and Lillian (Richter) Reha. He was a 1941 graduate of Bison High School.
He married Janita Krug on Jan. 4, 1947, in Great Bend. She preceded him in death. He was the owner of Reha Automotive, La Crosse, prior to retirement. He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during World War II.
He was a member of Hope Lutheran Church, Rush Center, La Crosse Country Club, and a 60-year member of American Legion Post No. 33, La Crosse.
Survivors include two daughters, Jana Hemken, and husband, Wes, Rush Center and Judith Richardson and husband, Darrell "Rich," Bellevue, Wash.; four grandchildren, Brent Hemken, Larned, Shana Brewington, Rush Center, Jennifer Richardson, Bellevue, and John Richardson, Seattle; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a grandson, Phillip Hemken; and a brother, Daniel Reha.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Hope Lutheran Church, Rush Center; inurnment in La Crosse City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
A prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.
Memorials are suggested to La Crosse Country Club or Hope Lutheran Church, Rush Center, in care of Janousek Funeral Home, La Crosse.
