Joy Jane Sutor, 91, Plainville, died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.

She was born Nov. 8, 1922, in Simla, Colo., to Albert and Maude (Powers) Jennings.

She married Darrell Sutor on May 14, 1943, in Plainville.

She was a faithful member of Palco United Methodist Church, Rooks County 4-H and Palco E.H.U.

Survivors include her husband, Darrell Sutor, Plainville; three daughters, Linda Sutor, Smolan, Darla Moore and husband, Charlie, Scott City, and Lorna Sutor-Pelton, Palco; a sister, Jarvine Felderman, Palco; six grandchildren, Jessica Hall and husband, Kelly, Heather Renier and husband, Dan, Dana Pieper and husband, David, Kevin Moore, Shellie Collins and husband, Colby, and Chan Pelton and wife, Amanda; 10 great-grandchildren, Brandy Hall, Emily Hall, Cody Pieper, Cady Pieper, Lauryn Renier, Nathan Renier, Kristyn Renier, Kamdyn Moore, Cierra and Claire Collins; and a great-great-grandson.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Alberta Stull; a foster son, John Martin; and two brothers-in-law, Max Stull and Clive Felderman.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Palco United Methodist Church; burial in Pleasant View Cemetery, Palco.

Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Friday, with family receiving friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, Plainville.

Memorials are suggested to Palco United Methodist Church or Rooks County 4-H in care of the funeral home.
