Kimberly Ann Clews


Kimberly Ann Clews, 51, Junction City, died Friday, Dec. 13, 2013, at her home.

She was born Aug. 10, 1962, in Hays to Leroy and Faye (Cummings) Clews. She was a 1981 graduate of Hays High School. She graduated from Hays Academy of Hair Design. She previously had been employed by Dillons in Hays and Salina.

She had her own business, Kimberly's Creations, and made chocolates and mints for special occasions.

She was a Girl Scout leader in La Crosse. She was a foster parent for cats and dogs for Humane Society of Riley County.

She enjoyed animals, crafts, cooking, fishing and outdoor activities.

Survivors include a sister, Diana Pfannenstiel and husband, Kenneth, Hays; a niece, Sara Mahoney and husband, Matt, and great-niece, Maeve, Merriam; a nephew, Kevin Pfannenstiel and wife, Tanda, and great-nephew, Jaxson, and great-niece, Lexi, Broomfield, Colo.; her companion, Robert Barber, Junction City, and his family, Darold, Donovan, Starleena and Theodor; and her cat, Tabitha.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Presbyterian Church, Wamego.
