Lila May Baldwin


Lila May Baldwin, 94, Plainville, died Wednesday, April 23, 2014, at Rooks County Health Center, Plainville.

She was born July 26, 1919, in rural Graham County to Fred and Ethel (Hedge) Eichman.

She married Ora Otis Baldwin on May 6, 1946, in Colby. He preceded her in death.

Survivors include two sons, Larry Baldwin and wife, Karen, Palco, and Steve Baldwin wife, Thea, Plainville; two sisters, Ellenora Meyer and husband, Truman, Newton, and Betty Kay, Beaverton, Ore.; seven grandchildren, Mindi Blokzyl and husband, Casey, Craig Baldwin, Tammy Devero, Alexandra Brewster and husband, Joey, Aryn Gosser and husband, Lance, Justin Lacy and Amy Williams; and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at United Methodist Church, Plainville; burial in Green Mound Cemetery.

Visitation will be until 8 p.m. Friday, with family receiving friends from 5:30 to 7 p.m. at Plumer-Overlease Funeral Home, 320 S.W. Second, Plainville, KS 67663.
