Norman Glenn Fisher Jr.


Norman Glenn Fisher Jr. 62, Hays, died Tuesday, Nov. 26, 2013, at Hays Medical Center.

He was born May 20, 1951, in Norton to Norman and Wanda (LaRue) Fisher Sr. He was a 1969 graduate of Jennings High School, attended Fort Hays State University and graduated from Salina Vo-Tech School with an associate's degree in small-engine repair. He moved back to Hays in 2002 from Colorado.

He was passionate about his own business, where serviced and repaired small engines.

He enjoyed music, fishing, showing off his countless antiques, his family and friends. He had a huge heart and was incredibly generous.

Survivors include is his wife, Cathy Fisher, of the home; a son, Norman Glenn Fisher III; three daughters, Veronica Fisher, Haley Fisher-Modlin and Courtney Hauser; a stepson, Joshua; a brother, Gary Fisher and wife, Renee; a sister, Kathy Fisher; and three grandchildren, Peyton, Ethan and Rylee.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Norman and Wanda Fisher Sr.; and his grandparents, Elmer and Marion Fisher and Ray and Abby LaRue.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday at Cline's Mortuary of Hays, 1919 E. 22nd, Hays, KS 67601.

Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary; private family inurnment will be at a later date.

Memorials are suggested to Western Kansas Association on Concerns of the Disabled, 2401 E. 13th, Hays, KS 67601.
