Sonia Mae Vodraska, 71, Wilson, died Friday, May 2, in Wilson.

She was born July 2, 1942, in Odell, Neb., to Orville and Wilma (Jones) Warren.

She married Alex Vodraska Jr. on May 1, 1965, in Wichita. She spent most of her life in Ellsworth County, where she was a certified nurse's aid at the Good Samaritan Home, a teacher's aid at Ellsworth Elementary School and a farmwife.

She was a member of the St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Wilson, Daughters of Isabella, Wilson, and Family and Community Education.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters, Karen Boyd, Hot Springs, Ark., and Michelle Weinhold, Wilson; a brother, Bob Warren, Roy, Utah; a sister, Jane Winfrey, Clackamas, Ore.; two grandsons, Cody Jackson, Jonesboro, Ark., and Tanner Jackson, Hot Springs; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a daughter, Sarah Mae, in 1972.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Wilson; burial in Ellsworth Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

A vigil will be at 7 p.m. Sunday at the church.

Memorial are suggested to St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Wilson, or St. Joseph Catholic Church, Dorrance, in care of the funeral home.
