Honorable

I write this to support the candidacy of the honorable Eber Phelps for re-election to the Kansas House of Representatives. I have known Rep. Phelps for more than 20 years and have followed his career closely.

During that time, I have found him to be:

* A very strong supporter of education, both K-12 education and post-secondary education. He believes education is the foundation of our future prosperity and well-being as a state, and he has voted accordingly.

* Engaged with the Kansas National Guard and U.S. Army Reserve by virtue of his service as an Ambassador for Kansas representing the Chief, U.S. Army Reserve. In that role, he connected well with the Reserve forces in Kansas and advocated for issues related to their service and our defense.

In all, Mr. Phelps is an honorable man and a fine public servant who has earned and deserves another term as a state representative.
