Still fighting

I started writing letters to Hays Daily News in the mid-1960s against repressive gun laws and abortion. Here we are, 50 years later, and still fighting the same ideology and ideologues. I guess you might say we're still in the same gunfight and life-and-death (abortion) struggle. Marxists never quit working for their agenda, i.e. total world control and domination.

The Bible says they eventually accomplish their goal called Mystery Babylon, and it's ruled by the Anti-Christ.

Since the Sandy Hook School slaughter, I've noticed all the commentaries in HDN by the professional writers have been anti-gun and the few letters that were published are pro-gun. The public is overwhelmingly pro-gun across the USA.

Mike Corn was pretty strident when he said "What evil lurks within people that would buy something like that." He called them assault rifles, which is patently false. Why don't we outlaw "poison pens" like his and Donald Kaul's. Evil people? Come on. I'll give you some facts in a moment that will curl his hair or bunch up his shots!

Kaul was downright violent in his commmentary.

Quote: "If some people refuse to give up their guns, that prying the guns from their cold, dead hands thing works for me." Come on, HDN, that is below your dignity. That calls for killing lawful gun owners. Violence to stop a few deranged nuts. God help us. He's deranged.

Now for some facts, mostly from the FBI Uniform Crime Report for 2011. Steve Gill reported this on his radio show. Pay attention Corn and Kaul and you readers. There'll be a pop quiz at the end!

There were 14,621 murders in 2011. Pay attention: 323 were committed with rifles -- rifles of all types including some so-called assault rifles. That even curls my hair.

Minscule number with more than 300 million guns in the country legally. Let us look at some more curlers.

There are two times as many people murdered by hands and feet, i.e. beaten to death as the rifle total.

You are three times more apt to be murdered using a blunt object, five times as much by knives, swords etc. The following isn't racist, just facts. You are 10 times more apt to be murdered by an illegal alien; 11 more apt to be killed by a drunk driving illegal alien, 100 times to be killed in an auto accident. There are five times as many blacks murdered as whites. Blacks killed by blacks is seven times. Chicago had more than 500 murders in 2012, mostly black on black, and it has very strict gun control laws. An aside here, Rahm Emmanuel, B.O.'s buddy and mayor of Chicago, has armed guards at the school where his kids go. Equality? Enough of this, now for the quiz. What is the cause of all this violence? You guessed, right; people.

Hey, let's outlaw violent people. We have already; how's that working for you?
