It is time to clean house in Topeka.
The Legislature agreed to spend $17.4 million at the capital in an attempt to complete the unending renovations and grounds work, and to build a visitors center inside for $5.4 million.
What are they planning?
If they would look on the city map, they would discover that a visitors center already exists three blocks away.
They are moving funds out of transportation again. In this election year, this would be a good time to kick these type of officials to the curb.
The people of Kansas deserve better people taking care of our needs instead of their pet projects.
