Tricky treats

This Saturday is Halloween and, of course, many children will be knocking on doors asking, "Trick or treat?"

Some will be holding out little boxes saying "Trick or Treat for UNICEF," the United Nations Children's Fund. These children, of course, are trying to help others by collecting for a cause they've been told helps children in the Third World.

What they haven't been told -- and what all of us need to understand -- is something the UN would like to keep under wraps: the UNICEF promoted depopulation efforts throughout what it considers an overpopulated world. It does this by promoting contraception and abortion. UNICEF is loathe to make direct reference to such activities, preferring instead to use such euphemisms as "family counseling" in place of abortion promotion and "AIDS prevention" in place of condom distribution.

For more information on this subterfuge, readers can visit www.lifenews.com and type "unicef" into the custom search window.

UNICEF has a long history of using our innocent children to end the lives of others; those of us answering doors this Saturday evening can do our part toward ending this cynical abuse. For the good of our children and those in the Third World, hand our little trick-or-treaters candy, cookies or another genuine treat rather than cash that will be used to kill.
