Sequestration (spending cuts) was the brainchild of Obama and Jack Lew, recently nominated and confirmed by the Senate as the new secretary of the Treasury. However, Obama went on and on about this whole thing coming from Republicans. Obama lied about it all over the place.

Think of Obama's tirade about the sequester in terms of a pebble thrown into a big pond with a wave going out in every direction and eventually dissipating and doing nothing of significance. But, oh brother, did our pres go bonkers over a pittance of reduced spending.

Fortunately, a very reputable journalist by the name of Bob Woodward set the record straight clearly showing the sequester was a White House deal in the beginning. Obama clearly owns this minuscule spending cut, but Obama makes it out to be the "sky is falling," children will go hungry, millions will lose their jobs, airports won't operate, etcetera -- although none of that is happening.

It took media a long time to catch on. When they finally did, Obama pulled back a little bit on his Armageddon rhetoric. But, what is absolutely amazing about Obama's lies, distortions and fear-mongering, mainstream media won't make him pay in any way for his outlandish predictions.

Our president, who makes former President Bill Clinton look like an amateur in comparison when it comes to politics, may have lost this battle in terms of no sky falling in, but he's probably not going to lose this war.

At the rate we are going with Obama's higher taxes (especially higher Obamacare taxes) and his other anti-business agendas, it's not likely unemployment numbers will come down, nor will our economy see any improvement.

With the help of media, any further dip in unemployment numbers or the economy, Obama will see to it the Republicans will be at fault due to the sequester, even when nothing could be further from the truth. Many pundits believe the president wants America to suffer in a variety of ways in order for him to blame his opposition. Congress is willing to give the president some latitude in where cuts might occur so why does this guy not want to go there?

As things stand now, the Republican-controlled House is the only thing standing in his way for more spending, higher taxes and absolutely no reduction in our national debt. By blaming Republicans, he hopes to retake all of Congress in 2014. There's only one way this can happen and guess who will go all out to help him. Hint: starts with the letter "M."

This president's malicious political ploy of making Americans suffer in one way or another for political gain is unheard of in our history for any presidential administration. Shame on him. No way would the big "M" let the likes of Bush 43 get away with this kind of charade. Not in a million years.
