Odd obsession

Printer-friendly version

Bob Hooper has two obsessions. Number one, Bush lied us into war and needs to be impeached. Number two, I am his other obsession. Seems to me he has written a handful of articles on each of us.

Here's what readers need to know. Hooper and I have had e-mails going back and forth for over a year.

I have complimented him for providing detail on issues, which rarely happens with other liberals I debate. But invariably, the e-mails I receive from him include personal attacks and name calling.

He has mastered the many different ways of telling me how my head is up a certain part of my anatomy. Most recently he called me a fool. He even suggested in one of his e-mails I was violated by a priest when I was an altar boy. That's just for starters!

I could go back into my computer and write thousands of words involving his numerous personal attacks and name calling but I won't. You get the picture.

What is it they say: "When you read something consider the source."

I'm glad this man does not speak for my side, the conservative one. If I was Jaime Oss I'm not sure I would want this man speaking for me.

As for his most recent attack of my writing, if I commented on all the things he said I should, my article would have been 6,000 words instead of the 600 words Reader Forum submissions are limited to. I listed with plenty of specificity the left-wing liberal groups that hate America or dramatically want to change this country -- and vote Democrat. His doublespeak critique doesn't change any of that.

One final note. I did not start this mess. This just isn't worth my time anymore. For me it's history considering the source(s).
