Journalists in the media, including the Associated Press, have sold out to Obama, so I will do their job for them. The Benghazi terrorist attack in Libya is a huge (I mean huge) scandal that has come down the pike following the other huge scandal, called Fast and Furious. Our president (and surrogates) lied in both cases and people died.

Think Watergate! Nobody died, but a Republican president was forced to resign for illegally tampering with Democrat communications. Corrupt media would have a heyday with any president whose name has an R before it and probably succeed in impeachment in both scandals above, while ignoring Obama's transgressions.

Maybe we have three huge scandals; the above two and media's complicity.

Benghazi is 10 times (maybe 100) worse than Watergate. Obama (and media) succeeded in kicking Fast and Furious down the road, thus my letter is about Benghazi.

What is media doing with Obama's Benghazi? The same thing Obama did. He apparently told possible reinforcements to stand down, do nothing and see how it plays out. Media is standing down too when it comes to what really matters. There's some sex involved that isn't the main issue, therefore, that gets a little attention from reporters, but not what's really important.

I used to say Obama gets away with murder, figuratively speaking. In the case of Libya's Benghazi, our commander in chief probably will get away with murder literally (in a sense) as he did nothing to help four great Americans.

The American people need to know what really happened.

What do we know? We know Americans in Benghazi pleaded for more security months prior to the attack. That fell on deaf ears as did their pleas for help during the seven-hour terrorist attack itself.

Unfortunately, there remain more questions than answers.

Why in the world were Obama, Hillary and Rice adamant the attack was not by terrorists, but the result of a spontaneous mob reacting to an anti-Islamic video from a nobody American, a video hardly anybody saw?

Everybody and their uncle tied to Obama's administration saw, in real time, what was going on in Benghazi. It was obvious terrorists were the attackers, not an unruly mob. Yet days out, the three mentioned above blamed the video. As far out as two weeks, Obama at the UN was still blaming the video.

Why? Speculation is that the administration, just weeks before the election did not want Obama's Middle East failed appeasement policy toward al-Qaeda to get in the way of re-election. Al-Qaeda was supposed to be on the run. Instead, four great Americans paid the price with their lives because of politics. Who, what, where, when, (whatever) as Congress tries to put the pieces of the puzzle together could conceivably go nowhere as Obama, true to form, kicks the can down the road using the excuse not to comment since there is an ongoing investigation, an investigation that probably won't end until the next century, at which time nobody cares.

The plot thickens with Petraeus caught in an extramarital affair with his biographer by the name of Paula Broadwell who was ever so close to him when this great general was turning things around in Iraq with the surge. CIA Director Petraeus claims his assessment as the attack occurred was altered. By whom? That is a huge story in itself.

What happens from here on out is anybody's guess but the whole thing smells of a cover up. Four Americans paid a price. Will our president have any accountability? If he does, it will be a first.
