As a lifelong western Kansan, I ran for office two years ago because I was concerned with the direction our state. Out-of-control spending, a high tax burden and more government regulation had combined to create an environment that made it increasingly hostile for Kansans to prosper and create jobs.

We were losing thousands of jobs and I was watching my classmates go off to college and not come back to western Kansas.

Sue Boldra has a clear understanding and experience on what government regulations and high taxes can do to local businesses and farmers.

She understands the need to create an environment conducive to job creation and entrepreneurship. She also knows the importance of having strong schools and universities.
