Maskus the right choice

I write this letter to encourage the voters of Ellis County to elect Donna Maskus as their county clerk. I can personally confirm Donna has spent her years of service in the county clerk's office training for this position and dedicating herself to being a well-qualified, conscientious individual who knows the duties of the county clerk and can perform them in a capable manner.

There are many statutory duties, including tax levy structures, budgets and election procedures that can't be addressed by someone who wants to step in and restructure these duties and "learn as they go" on this job.

Lastly, Donna Maskus is a bright, pleasant-mannered person who always deals with the public in a personable, professional manner. As one of my employees, no one could say she was not a leader, and she has proven herself to be a community leader as well. I voluntarily make this endorsement without the encouragement of any political party or individual.
