As election time approaches, citizens of Ellis County will make key decisions regarding candidates engaged in local government. I strongly encourage you to vote Butch Schlyer for Ellis County clerk. Butch has the personal qualities of integrity, innovation and independence necessary to perform the obligations of the office.

Butch has integrity, and integrity is crucial. He has a history and record of doing the right thing, following established protocols and treating all customers with respect while being non-judgmental.

Butch is innovative, and innovation is essential. Through his years as health administrator, Butch has consistently worked to improve operations and provide more and better services. Program and service delivery have been fostered utilizing technology while identifying partnerships and building collaborations.

Butch has independence, and independence is fundamental. Working autonomously as health administrator. Butch has an established history and record of independent decision making to enhance customer service.

For a candidate with knowledge, demeanor and a willingness to be accountable for performance, vote for Butch Schlyer on Nov. 6.
