Leadership
On Nov. 6, voters will go to the polls to choose one of two candidates for office of Ellis County clerk. I am one of those candidates.
Currently, I am the Ellis County health administrator and was appointed to that office 19 years ago. During that time, I have demonstrated leadership abilities as well as sound office, program and human resource management. I have provided fiscal responsibility developing department budgets and being held accountable for related expenditures. I have a record of independently doing the right thing while treating all customers equally without being judgmental.
As Ellis County clerk, in addition to the services and duties already offered, I would re-establish leadership to the office. The county clerk and staff should be the hub of Ellis County government, fostering collaboration and communication between the various county departments, community agencies and citizens.
As county clerk I will be a voice for advocacy, concern or complaint to the administration and board of Ellis County commissioners.
For a candidate with knowledge, demeanor, integrity and a diligent work ethic I ask for your support Nov. 6.
