I got to know Sue Boldra when we both were candidates for public office in 2010, and we have maintained a friendship ever since.
Sue stands out as a dedicated advocate for the needs of western Kansas. Her background as a kid who grew up on the family farm, a small business owner, an educator and a strong supporter of the Second Amendment gives Sue the kind of broad community understanding that make for an effective advocate in Topeka.
Sue Boldra would be a terrific partner in our ongoing work to defend individual liberty from ever-encroaching government and to help ensure that rural Kansas can stay vibrant for another generation. At a time when we so desperately need a change in our national leadership in Washington, Sue also would bring new enthusiasm and a fresh face to Topeka.
It is my honor to work with all legislators, of both political parties and from all parts of Kansas, who are sent to Topeka by the voters around our state. As a rural Republican myself, it would be a particular privilege to work with a strong leader like Sue Boldra if Ellis County voters choose her to be your representative.
