They're not practicing what they preach.

Jim Barnett claims he'll be "bringing jobs to Kansas," yet the latest Federal Election Commission campaign finance records show he's disbursed more than 70 percent of his campaign funds outside Kansas. "Rob Wasinger creates jobs." In other states, perhaps. Wasinger has spent 60 percent of his treasury outside of Kansas, including cab fare in New York City.

Likewise, Tim Huelskamp promises to "create private sector jobs" -- but where? Only 47 percent of his spending has been in Kansas. Tracey Mann swears that "jobs are not created by Congress, but by Kansans." Apparently, he'd rather have Kansans create jobs for non-Kansans, as he entrusts Kansas entrepreneurs with just 61 percent of his funds.

Kansans have given freely to the campaigns of these gentlemen. In return, these candidates siphon off most of those funds to Beltway campaign advisers and out-of-state ad agencies. If elected, do they also plan to give our taxes away to other states instead of returning as much as they can to the Kansas economy?

Sue Boldra spends 92 percent of her campaign funds right here in Kansas. She's serious about putting Kansans first. Vote for Sue Boldra's "Bold Leadership" on Tuesday.
